The
destination that started it all for us and hopefully
one day will be our flag ship Somewhere Different
Villa.

Different's land where we will build our 'surf shack'
It's on the east coast of Sri Lanka just north of
East Yala National Park , on the outskirts of a sleepy
little fishing village called Arugam Bay. It's right
on the beach... no need for a pool as the sea is always
about 28 degrees.
W e only have three pictures of the land... so I thought
I'd stick all three in
It is probably statistically as safe to go here
now as it was to go to Watford when the IRA bombs
where going off in London, but due to the effects
of... not the Tsunami. but ironically the Tsunami
aid money that seems to be filtering into an arms
race with the Tamil Tigers... the destination is on
hold.
Our plan is to get a small offering going here to
begin with for die hard surfers who can't resist the
thought of perfect 800m breaks with no one else around
that are only a short walk from the villa. We will
hopefully start some sort of offering here when the
current situation in Sri Lanka returns to normal.
Lets hope it's soon as it really is an amazing destination
