Somewhere Different is a family run business. Penny and I design and build the villas and once they are up and running, build a team of locals to provide the level or service we would expect for ourselves if we were renting the Villa. As the Siwa Villa was our first project to go live, we spent over a year training the new staff insuring the level of service we want was established and everything runs as well as it possible can. We have purposely tried to build a team of people that are very reliable and enthusiastic about what they do yet at the same time not over keen and who will let you get on with your holiday without them fussing and constantly asking you if everything is OK.

When we take off on our tours around Egypt, we have several people in different locations that help us provide the Somewhere Different experience we want for our guest. With out our extended team we would not be able to gain the same access to services and peoples homes as we do here in Siwa.
