As we grow, our needs are changing. To provide the level of service we like to give our guests, and to live up to the 5 star rating we have on trip advisor a lot of behind the scene work is going on especially in Romania. If you would like to come and work for Somewhere Different. Please see the opportunities below.
- A manager is required for our Transylvanian destination. It will not be up and running until the end of 2010 but if you like to plan ahead and are interested in living in Romania in warm sunny days in the summer and skiing in the winter, maybe send over your CV and see where it takes you.
- Builder - if you trained as a builder and fancy taking six month out next winter 2010/11 and living in Siwa; we need someone to lead a team of builders and to make it all happen. Accommodation and salary are provided. You will learn how to build in mud and you will work in perfect sunny weather every day.
- Harvest pickers are needed for a few weeks in Siwa, Egypt in November - December storing the olive harvest or in the village of Breb in Northern Transylvania next September collecting in the apples from our orchard, have a look at our listing on www.helpx.net . We are listed as being in Romania. We work to Helpx's recommendations of hours of work etc.
- We home school our children. They have had a great teacher for the last year who has completed the first year of their two year GCSE studies and we are now looking for a new teacher to start in May 2010 and take them right through to taking their GCS' in May 2011.
