Cairo restaurants are not the best in the word, they are certainly not the most expensive and so the 'value for money' aspect its good. I have eaten out regularly in Cairo for five years and I have never been ill from food poisoning, sometimes teh beer didn't help, but that's another story. I am currently updating this section, resisting the temptation to lift the content from another site or Lonely Planets. There are several good restaurants I use in Cairo and will be posting a review of each of them here in 2011 after I have had the time to photograph them.
